Mise en Scene for the detective.
When filming for the detectives scene-the detective played by Leonardo DiCaprio (George), it was important we showed the binary opposition of good vs evil. As i knew that we were going to play the killers scene first when editing it, we wanted to make sure that it was clear which of the characters were good and which characters were bad. For the detectives costume we combed over Georges hair to make it look smart and clean which makes him look smart and appropriate for this role. For his clothing he wore a suit which gave him a look of authority and upper class. We feel that this worked well and will clearly tell our audience what kind of character he will be. Some of the props we used in our shoot included a work folder and pictures for the investigation board and to go on the table.
